Idea visit Versailles from Paris

The Versailles Palace is closed on Mondays.

According to your wishes, we can spend a half day in Versailles, or a full day, or even 2 days!

Versailles is a must-see while in Paris. However, the estate of Versailles is huge, and can be quite crowded sometimes, so it can be hard to enjoy it to the full.

Follow me on a private tour to make the most of your trip to Versailles:

  • The Palace: Great Apartments of the Kings and Queens, Hall of Mirrors, Marble Courtyard...
  • The Gardens: in summer, stroll around the gardens and enjoy the statues, fountains and hidden groves
  • The estate of Trianon: Grand Trianon build by Louis XIV, Petit Trianon, where Marie-Antoinette spent most of her time, and the hamlet of Marie-Antoinette, where she played to be a farmer!
  • The Coaches gallery: discover some original coaches from the 19th century, and unique sleds used by the kings and their Court
  • The town of Versailles: if you have some more time, stroll around the very nice town of Versailles, learning about the French Revolution in the "Salle du serment du Jeu de Paume", or tasting some French food in the Marché Notre-Dame.

Why do I love leading this tour to Versailles?

"Versailles Palace is one of the tours I do most frequently, and I still enjoy going there several times a week. My favorite parts are the gallery of coaches, with original old coaches, and the gardens of Marie-Antoinette, near the Petit Trianon".

Tips for your visit to Versailles

How to go to Versailles from Paris

Versailles Palace is easy to reach from Paris by train: it takes about 30 minutes with RER line C

I can also arrange a private driver to drive you directly from your hotel in Paris to Versailles.

Wheelchair or stroller

Strollers are not allowed inside the Palace. Versailles estate is huge, and not easy to get around with a wheelchair or a stroller because of cobblestones, sand and gravel paths...

The inside of the Palace can be visited in wheelchair if needed.
