The Louvre museum is definitely a must-see in Paris. But if you are coming for the first time, it can be intimidating. And with 35000 works of art, it might be hard to know where to start!
Then, follow me on a private tour to discover the masterpieces of the Louvre museum, from Greek antiquities to Italian and French paintings. You will learn in an engaging way, and leave the museum with a much better understanding of the history of this place, and the art displayed in it.
If you have a bit more time, or if you have seen the masterpieces before, we can discover more sections of the Louvre during your private tour: apartments of Napoleon III, Egyptian antiquities...
Why do I love leading this tour in the "Musée du Louvre"?
"I lead tours in the Louvre museum very often, and it is has always been one of my favorite museums in Paris. When I studied art history at university, a lot of the artworks we learnt about where displayed in the Louvre museum, and now, I have the chance to work there! My favorite painting (if I had to choose only one) is the Wedding Feast at Cana by Veronese, because there are so many details, I feel I could discover new secrets every time!"
All the best of the Louvre museum in a short time: history of the royal Palace, Venus de Milo, Winged Victory, Mona Lisa, Liberty leading the people...
